130° LONG PFN INTERLOCKING NAIL (R)
An osteosynthetic implant was created with a closed intramedullary fixation technique to treat proximal femoral fractures in the trochanter region.
Specification
- Rotational stability: The combination of a load-bearing femoral neck screw and a hip pin that promotes rotational stability ensures both intraoperative and postoperative safety.
- The screw shoulder acts as an insertion safety stop, preventing the femoral neck screw from unintentionally slipping through the nail and into the femoral neck.
- The nail can be easily placed and positioned in the medullary canal at an anatomical angle of 6°.
SIZES
- PFN Nail Short sizes: Distal diameter 9-12 mm, Angle 130° or 135°, Length from 180 to 250 mm. Available in both stainless Steel and Titanium.
- PFN Nail Long sizes: Distal diameter 9-12 mm, Angle 130° or 135°, Length from 340 to 440 mm. Available in both stainless Steel and Titanium. Proximal Femoral Nail available for both Left and Right.
