Gamma Nail
A gamma nail is an intramedullary nail used to treat fractures of the femur. It is a type of internal fixation device that is inserted into the hollow center of the femur (medullary canal) to stabilize the fracture and promote healing. They are particularly well-suited for fractures of the proximal femur and intertrochanteric fractures.
